Wreaths Across America welcomes all Hoyas and friends to the Wreath Clean-up Day, also known as Wreaths Out, at Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday, January 20th. This event draws far less crowds than the laying ceremony and volunteers are always in demand.
Gates open at 8am. At 8:30am there will be an opening ceremony and brief volunteer instructional briefing at McClellan Gate located just off Eisenhower Drive between Section 33 and 12, on McClellan Drive. Wreath clean-up begins at 8:45am. Everyone is free to arrive and depart whenever they like.
Registration is NOT required to participate. Just show up! Please dress to spend all of your time outside and plan accordingly to take Metro (parking is not available). The Arlington Cemetery Station on the Blue Line stops at the main entrance. Visit here for more information.
